Therapeutic Approaches


My practice focuses on adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, identity questions, and feeling stuck in old patterns. I offer culturally affirming care and welcome neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients, with attention to how larger systems and identities impact your inner world. Some of my specific areas of interest include attachment and developmental trauma, cultural trauma including immigration, PTSD, difficulties with anxiety and panic, ADHD, LGBTQIA+ experience, anti-oppressive practices, harm reduction. My training includes Level 2 IFS (pursuing certification), EMDR certification, and intensive work in DBT, CBT, Polyvagal theory, and mindfulness approaches. These prepare me to support your unique path toward healing and integration.

Group Therapy

I’m developing group therapy offerings and would love to gauge your interest. These groups will create a supportive space to connect with others, share experiences, and deepen healing through IFS-informed and trauma-sensitive approaches.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a therapy that offers healing from traumatic memories by focusing on the memory while simultaneously engaging in bilateral stimulation. Bilateral stimulation can be offered in form of eye moments or auditory or tactile. Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Therapy style utilized evidence-based psychotherapy techniques that allow people to heal from within by accessing parts of themselves. This therapy is strength based, compassionate, non-pathologizing. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

This is a talk therapy style that is meant designed to assist people to experience relief from intense emotions and behaviors. This therapy styles focuses on developing skills of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

This talk therapy style encourages exploration of  ways in which individual automatic thinking styles can negatively impact mood and behaviors. By examining “autonomic thoughts” we can evaluate, challenge, or change the troublesome thoughts that can in turn positively impact emotions and behaviors.
